Blue Innovations focuses solely on breakthroughs that serve the common good. The MS Porrima , our experimental vessel, is a highly effective tool that we have been leveraging for decades through advocacy and entrepreneurship. The shape and design of this 36-meter catamaran, which embodies numerous innovations as if it were a community—and which has already circumnavigated the globe three times—possess a unique appeal.

This experimental vessel embodies many of our favorite technologies. However, this ship is more than just a demonstration of renewable energy, ranging from solar panels (540 square meters) to an AI-powered kite (capturing continuous wind up to 800 meters), and hydrogen produced from seawater. It is a changemaker. These technologies are designed and continuously improved by a network of scientists who have been collaborating since 1994 within the framework of the zero-emissions philosophy and the pragmatic approach to project implementation known as the blue economy.
